LISTENING TO MY HEART UNTIL I FINISH WHAT I STARTED....

When they told me about the blogging thing in CC3 my mind told me. "WHAT? WHY?". I was never good in expressing myself whether in person or in written, so i though how could I place a personal touch with my blog as one of the criteria? but I do have a bit of creativity. My first blog was out of imagination and favorites. I do love Harry Potter and movies with happy endings and those with unusual characters. That's why i made it as a theme for my first blog. After doing so I didn't bother to plan what theme to use for my second blog because I though it won't help anyway, but i was wrong. When i realized that i have to do something about it i did, for the second time around i listened to my hearts desire. My second blog was done. Though i found it hard for me to express myself in my blog, i still did it and finally was achieved. God is always good, he gave me a heart of creativity and imaginations. My blogging experience is one of the most fulfilling action of my life.  If you were going to asked me what have i learned in doing this blog? my answer would be easy as A,B,C. I've learned to finish whatever i started. Being able to blog information that could somehow be useful to others gave me a sense of proud. I am proud that I've done it till the end. I am proud that I have shared a very useful information to others. I am PROUD of myself.

THANK YOU FOR READING...

TILL NEXT TIME. :)

Before ending my blog here is another interesting issue....

who among us don't know this big guy?

Hulk is played by Edward Norton in the movie "THE INCREDIBLE HULK" . Edward Norton was said to used anabolic steroids to give him a big and firm muscles.

BEFORE:

Anabolic steroids are drugs that mimic the effects of testosterone and dihydrotestosterone in the body. They increase protein synthesis within cells, which results in the buildup of cellular tissue (anabolism), especially in muscles. Anabolic steroids also have androgenic and virilizing properties, including the development and maintenance of masculine characteristics such as the growth of the vocal cords, testicles, and body hair (secondary sexual characteristics).

AFTER:

But the speculation where never confirmed to be true. Whether he uses it or not he still played the hulk good.

END! :)

thank you for reading.

Alice and Harry connected with Endocrinology?

INTRODUCTION:

Abnormalities of Humans

VS

Normal Movie Character

LORD VOLDEMORT

 Films and Endocrine merger......

Why did I choose films or movie to discuss my blog about endocrinology? Simply because, I love movies and I find it interesting for some people to see their favorite movie characters more fascinating. In particular I admire films with extra ordinary characters.

Fantasy movies are the best for me that is why I choose 2 movies that will give me a glimpse on how endocrinology works. This blog is focus on the disease conditions of humans in connection with the endocrine system.

Each horcuxes give him life and energy. Just like the endocrine system all glands belong to it work together to maintain the balance of hormones on the body. This is how is see the endocrine system.

Horcuxes

NORMAL MOVIE CHARACTER #

Filius Flitwick

Filius Flitwick was a part-goblin part wizard who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy, he’s an intelligent young man who is normal for them and a model students. For them he’s normal but for us he’s not. In real world if you saw a person this small you would automatically assume that he is experiencing a disease condition.

the real thing is this…..

Dwarfism

Is when an individual is short in physique resulting from a medical condition caused by problems that arise in the pituitary gland in which the growth of the individual is slowed or delayed.

NORMAL MOVIE CHARACTER #

Rubues Hagrid
Hagrid is a half giant wizard who also attended Hogwarts School f Witchcraft and Wizardy. He's tall as we can see, but his brother is more taller that him that is off course his brother is a giant. Just like Filius, Hagrid is normal with the eyes of the Hogwarts people, but for us real humans he's not.

the real score is.....

Giantism
is a condition characterized by excessive growth and height significantly above average. This is cause by excessive production of growth hormone in childhood before the long bone epiphyses closes.

NORMAL MOVIE CHARACTER #

The Malfoy Family

Malfoy is a surname of wealthy family and pure blooded wizards and witches. Draco Malfoy   is the mortal enemy of Harry Potter in the story. The Malfoy family are know to have white hair as their unique characteristics. In their world, having a white hair will indicate you are Malfoy but with our world? it means something else.

discoloration means in our world is....

Addison's Disease
is a rare, chronic endocrine disorder in which the adrenal glands do not produce sufficient steroid hormones. The difference between the Malfoy and patients with Addison's Disease is that, Malfoy's have white discoloration on their hair while patient with Addison's Disease have darkening or hyper-pigmentation of the skin.

NORMAL MOVIE CHARACTER #

The Fat Boys of Alice
they are the fat boys of Alice in the movie Alice in Wonderland. They are twins and they're cute. Most of the times they contradict each other about little things. They may not be different with their looks but they differ with their interest. What do you think the disease condition that can be associated with the cute fat boys?

if you're thinking about this, you are right! it is.....

Diabetes Mellitus Type 2
is a metabolic disorder characterized by high glucose in the context of insulin resistant or deficiency. DM type 2 makes up about 90% of cases. Obesity is thought to be the primary cause of diabetes type 2 in people. it is also called as "acquired" diabetes mellitus and a non insulin dependent. The classical triad of DM is seen as signs and symptoms of this disease, its is caused by people's lifestyle and eating habits.

NORMAL MOVIE CHARACTER #

Peter Pettigrew
Peter Pettigrew is a full blood wizard who attended Hogwarts in his early years. he became a follower of Lord Voldemort and restore his human identity. He's eyes are big and bulging which doesn't look awkward with people in Hogwarts, however if he lives in our world where magic and witch craft don't existed, he will definitely be brought to the hospital for a check up, for he may be suffering from a illness.

we have the same thoughts, and it is....

Hyperthyroidism Grave's Disease
refers to an excess of circulating thyroid hormone in the system. Grave's disease is the most common form of hyperthyroidism that is characterized by bulging of eye balls. It occurs 6 times more commonly in women than men.
